Auction House Pricing Notebook

A practical local price tracker built around the game’s server-supplied reference prices—without invented market values.

Server-awareLocal price historyNo fabricated prices

The APK does not contain live auction prices. The sell screen requests moneyPrice and goldPrice from the server and labels them “Reference price.” Any static website claiming universal current prices from the APK would be making them up.

Suggestion shows unit price, stack gross, and estimated net after the configured 5% service charge. The server remains authoritative if its live result differs.

Practical pricing rules

  1. Start from the in-game Reference price. It is supplied by the server when the sell dialog opens.
  2. Check Market Detail. The client has a dedicated detail request for the same item, currency, and item level.
  3. Undercut lightly. One percent—or even one unit—is enough in a thin market. Large undercuts reset the market against you.
  4. Separate gear by item level and quality. The auction filters include item levels from 1 through 110; a cheap lower-level copy is not a true comparable.
  5. Price stacks per unit first. Then multiply by stack size. Buyers compare unit economics even when the UI emphasizes total price.
  6. Record actual sales. Listings are wishes; sold prices are evidence.

The constants also suggest global floors of 10,000 Gold and 2 Diamonds, but the server-provided per-item Reference price remains authoritative.

What the current auction supports

Top-level filters in the current data are Weapons, Armor, Others, Collections, and Items. Some records are masked until raid milestones open:
