Before you create the character
The boost checklist
Do all of this on your existing 60s first — it roughly triples the alt’s leveling speed.
The route
| Levels | Zone | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| 1–7 | Starter zones | Manual questing only — AFK mode and Bonfire both unlock at 7. This is the only stretch you can’t automate. |
| 7–10 | Dusk Forest | Flip AFK on, pop Bonfire on cooldown. Activate all heirlooms the second lv10 hits. |
| 10–30 | Westfall → Bloodhill → Dawnforest | The daily loop (below). Dungeons gate on the alt’s own level: RageAbyss 10, Snakebog 15, Dim Mine 20, Moonclaw 25, Labregan 30. |
| 30–44 | Thiaro Highlands → Pike Bay | Quest XP explodes at 34+ (300k–1M+ per quest vs. ~25k at 20). From here main quests are top priority. |
| 45–50 | Saharis | Lost Ruins (45) and Sunken Shire (50) dungeons; keep the quest chain rolling. |
| 51–60 | Sicklands | Flat ~1,000,000 XP per story quest + Darkrock Realm (52) credits + AFK at the designated spot carries you to cap. |
The wall levels — story coverage is thin at 2–3, 9, 12–14, 19, 25, 30, 33, 41–43, and 47. Bridge those with the AFK spot for your exact level (the game designates exactly one per level — see the AFK table) and dungeon credits. Don’t wander looking for quests that don’t exist.
The daily loop (from level 10)
Burn dungeon credits as a five-man first
20 daily credits + 2 team-bonus credits. Solo runs carry a 0.5× penalty; a full party runs at 2× — a five-man dungeon run is worth ~4× a solo run per credit. Always the highest dungeon the alt qualifies for.
AFK at the level’s designated spot, party in tow
+100% party bonus, uncapped, all day. Per-kill XP scales from 218/kill at 10 to 6,208/kill at 60.
Clear every available main quest — ruthlessly from 34+
136.8M total quest XP exists, but almost all of it sits in the level 34+ chains. Before 34, quests are secondary to the AFK loop; after 34, they’re the main course.
Bonfire on cooldown, Fund/sign-in claims into heirloom upgrades
Bonfire is free XP with zero combat; the Growth Fund and sign-ins pay currency, not XP — funnel it into heirloom activation and upgrades.
